Founded in 1982 as the nation’s only professional association for payroll and related professionals, the PAYO established the following objectives:

  • To increase the payroll professional’s skill level through education and mutual support
  • To obtain recognition for payroll, as practiced in today’s business and legislative environments, as a professional discipline.
  • To represent the payroll community in Washington, D.C.
  • To provide public service education to the national workforce on payroll taxation and employment-related issues.

As an official PAYO chapter, we strive to support these initiatives and prosper with the assistance of PAYO.

Our group focuses on nine monthly meetings featuring informative guest speakers and great networking opportunities; community outreach activities, especially during National Payroll Week, and payroll educational programs. The meetings are normally held once per month on Thursdays which are eight lunch, breakfast or later afternoons at various Toledo area restaurants and private clubs.

National Payroll Week is highly promoted within our chapter, celebrated in the first week of September. not only have we received local government attention for NPW, we also receive recognition from local business that donate wonderful gifts for our members during this celebration.
